ORANGES, honey and biscuits are among Chinese New Year goodies gifted to staff at The Star at their Pitt Street office.

IJM Land corporate communications senior executive Amelia Lim, joined by IJM Land business development senior executive Ellys Yam and Udini Square leasing assistant manager Tan Voon Ching, handed over the goodies to Star Media Group senior news editor Alex Teng, client brand marketing senior representative Wong Mei Choo and journalist N. Trisha.

Lim also announced that The Light City sales gallery would be launched in early March, featuring details about the project on the eastern coastline of Penang island.

Northern Heart Hospital Penang also came to give festive goodies.

Its corporate communications and corporate social responsibility head Adeline Goh said it was the only cardiac and vascular specialist hospital in Penang.

“We will start operations in the second quarter of this year,” said Goh who was accompanied by hospital marketing communications executive Toh Min Yee.

The Carlsberg Malaysia team also visited with festive wishes.

Its regional sales manager (northern) Toh Swee Huat said the company would hold a “Brewing Prosperity Together” CNY Bazaar at Gurney Paragon from Feb 2 to 4.

“We are offering artist-edition CNY packaging and also running promotions and hosting events to engage with our customers, partners and the media,” said Toh

Also joing the visit at Pitt Street was its planning sales manager Shaun Tay, promotion, function and event executive Phang Kee Fatt and sales executive Kev Chua.
