Effective infection prevention plays a vital role in minimizing the risk of healthcare-associated infections (HCAI) and upholding a safe, healthy environment for our patients, staff, visitors, and all who come through our doors.

A total of 10 healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs), representing 0.5%, were identified at NHH between July 2024 – June 2025, which is notably lower than the KKM target of 3%.
