Guests arrived to a lively pre-event networking session, enjoying beautifully crafted mocktails while capturing moments at our photobooth corner. It was more than just an icebreaker, it was a space for conversations to spark, partnerships to deepen, and friendships to form.
Each guest received a specially curated door gift, a charming enamel pin featuring our Northern Heart mascot.
More than a keepsake, the pin symbolises our commitment to care for every heart entrusted to us. It represents compassion, dedication, and our promise that at Northern Heart Hospital Penang, every heartbeat matters.
A Meaningful Beginning
The evening officially commenced with the Buka Puasa prayer led by Hardy, our Manager of the NICL. As the prayer concluded, dinner began, marking not only the breaking of fast but also the beginning of a memorable night.
Accompanying the dining experience was a beautiful live orchestra performance, setting an elegant and soothing backdrop as guests enjoyed their meal.
Leadership, Vision and a Powerful Launch
As the clock struck 8:00pm, we welcomed our CEO, Ms Kelen Leong to deliver her welcome address, followed by an inspiring speech by Dr Tan, Person-in-Charge of Northern Heart Hospital Penang.
The energy in the hall rose further with an electrifying drum performance, powerful rhythms that captivated every guest and heightened the anticipation in the room.
To sustain the momentum, our CEO and Dr Tan were invited on stage for the official opening ceremony. As they pulled down the ribbons and unveiled the scroll, Dr Tan shared the deeper meaning behind our Chinese name — “诺灯”.
“诺” symbolises a promise.
“灯” represents light.
Together, it reflects our mission, a promise that shines like a guiding light. It is more than a name; it is a responsibility carried by every doctor and team member at Northern Heart Hospital Penang, to give their very best, and to restore the rhythm of life for every patient we serve.
The moment concluded with all our doctors joining the stage for a group photo, a powerful visual reminder that behind every heartbeat restored stands a united team.
A Night of Culture, Surprise and Celebration
The excitement continued with a captivating Sichuan face-changing performance. Guests were delighted to discover that the talented performer was only seven years old. His precision, confidence and artistry left the audience in awe, creating one of the most unforgettable highlights of the evening.
Following the final orchestra performance, the celebration flowed seamlessly into our lucky draw session. Congratulations once again to all our winners who walked away with hotel dining vouchers, Hoseh horse plush toys and Northern Heart Hospital Penang health screening packages.
